Angelina Polska

Studio V Photography. Glamour portrait of Polish Canadian beauty Angelina Polska. I was shooting down in the Dominican Republic for the Paul Buceta Pool Party and Angelina was one of the models down there with us. We had finished shooting for the evening and were just hanging around the beach. Angelina has these stunning eyes and that night they were on. So I popped the flash back on the camera just for fun and shot this photo of her which turned out to be one of my favorite photos from that shoot. You never know when that perfect shot opportunity will pop up so you've always got to be ready.

Karlie Vanessa Sal

Studio V Photography. Last summer I had the pleasure of meeting and working with the lovely Karlie Vanessa Sal. I was on assignment for Nine5Four Magazine. They wanted pictures of Karlie on a yacht. I didn't know what to expect shooting Karlie for the first time. I think that's one of the most exciting aspects about my job. That unknown with regards to personality and developing that connection with someone on the fly. Needless to say we clicked almost as soon as I pointed the camera at her and we got some fantastic shots. There was a good click between us and we got some awesome shots. Nothing like spending a hot summer day by the lake. If only summer lasted longer. To see the published photos form this shoot click here

Nine5Four Canada Magazine - Megan Powell

Studio V Photography and Playboy Model Megan Powell featured in Nine5Four Canada Magazine.

This past July I had the pleasure of working with Megan Powell on a beautiful luxury yacht. This is the shoot that almost didn't happen. It was a hot sticky day in the city and I couldn't wait to feel the cool breeze out on the water. Paul the magazine editor, Sarah Ve the Makeup artist, Swimwear designer Tatiana Vano and the models all met up at the marina parking lot ready to head out on the water but our yacht was missing. That's a new one to add to the list of #PhotographerProblems (Read that story here) Eventually we sorted out the, kinda important, no boat situation, and we were off into the cool refreshing lake breeze. We spent the afternoon out on the lake weaving between the Toronto islands looking for good spots to shoot. I got fantastic shots of Megan doing her thing all over the boat. That polarizer sure came in handy shooting in the bright summer sun. I was really happy with the way the shots came out. Megan is such a silly playful personality it was really refreshing working with her. I hope to run into more models like here. As the chief photographer for Nine5Four Canada Magazine i'm sure I will. :)

Hahahaha love this pic. Everyone is working on something and than there's Megan with her tongue out. lol.

Marianne D'Vaz in VX2 Magazine

I'm excited to show off these pictures. I haven't worked with Marianne D'Vaz in years!!!! When the Editor of VX2 Magazine called me and said he had lined up a shoot with her I was stoked. We spent the day cruising around on a beautiful yacht shooting sexy photos for the magazine. Plus on top of all that I get to see my photos in print. It was so cool to work with Marianne again. I really missed her vibe. Hopefully we get to work together again soon.

Behind The Scenes With Nine5Four Canada Magazine

A little behind the scenes action. On set with Studio V Photography as we shoot Marianne D'Vaz, Megan Powell and Anna for an editorial feature for Nine5Four Canada Magazine. These three beauties were a fun buzz all day.

This is the shoot that almost didn't happen. The magazine editor lined up a beautiful vintage yacht for the shoot. I saw pictures of it before hand and it looked amazing. However when we got to the marina it was gone. Apparently the owner of the yacht decided to takeoff for the day and leave us stranded. Lucky for us the models were attracting all kinds of attention at the marina and it wasn't long before we found another yacht to shoot on. So in the end everything worked out perfectly and we made a great contact at the marina. Always keep a positive mindset and good things happen. That's the trick.  Swimsuits by Venao Swimwear. Makeup by Sarah Ve. I'll post more pictures from this shoot when they get published.

Mayra Beachwear Collection

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mayra from www.mayracollection.com for a second time. Woohooo. She wanted some new photo content for her webpage and this time she brought WBFF Fitness Diva Selena Stevens to model her bikinis. Myra was adamant about shooting on a blue background and lucky for her I have a recently painted blue textured wall at the studio. It worked out perfectly.

Well it turns out Selena is a riot. Totally awesome to work with and full of laughs. Mayra was on point in serious business mode. But that didn't last to long. The conversation was light and fun and the laughs came often. Before long we hit our stride, everyone was happy and all the shots were winners. You know It's a funny thing, literally, when everyone is smiling on set all the pictures come out amazing. Maybe i'm really newage with my thinking but when the fun is flowing it changes the energy in the room and everything becomes better. It's so hard to take a bad shot when you're having fun. Than before you know it the designer and the model turn the shoot into a dance party. hahahaha. #TrueStory

If you're a fitness competitor go check out www.mayracollection.com Mayra sews all her bikinis herself and she's a perfectionist which means you're probably going to get an awesome product for your stage show. I haven't seen one bikini from her that I didn't like. Oh and she also made those wings too. How cool is that.

Sima Fisher

Studio V Photography. Awwwwwooooo say hello to Sima Fisher, model, actress and Musician. I was lucky enough to shoot this triple threat in a stunning leopard print bikini and we got some fantastic images. This is my favourite out of the set. It was good laughs and good times all afternoon with Sima. When you have that click with the model you're working with the pictures just have that little extra touch of personality to them. Special thanks to Andy McParrot for styling and Monica Kalra for the Makeup.
