Editing Photos of Asha for Magazine Submission

Studio V Photography Toronto Glamour Photographer
Last summer I had the pleasure of working with the lovely Asha Urielle. If you guys were following my SnapChat at the time you'd remember the story for sure. It was a fun day of shooting and I think I got a little punch-drunk off the sun. We shot at a beach just outside of Toronto. The day started off nice and foggy which opened up some creative possibilities that had me pretty excited. But it wasn't long before the sun came out and I had to rethink my game plan. The angle of the sun plays such a huge role in determining how and where you're going to pose the model. Overall it was a great experience. Good times all around for everyone involved. The images will be featured in an upcoming issue of VX2 Magazine. So stay tuned for that. Watch the vlogs below and give them a thumbs up. It really helps to get those thumbs on those videos. Thanks.

Kesha Lynn Stevens

Studio V Photography: Meet all natural beauty Kesha Lynn Stevens. She's just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. One of my favourite people ever and such an awesome person. Miss her. Here's a little memory of days past. We shot this in the Dominican Republic a few years ago.

When I had the chance to shoot this naturally curvy beauty on the beach this Toronto Photographer jumped at the opportunity. I was done shooting for the day and looking forward to spending some time away from the camera. My assistant and I had retired to the beach bar to check out the action. We were at one of the infamous Paul Buceta pool parties and there were a bunch of models and photographers hanging out with drinks in hand. There was a good mix that year with photographers coming in from all parts of Canada and the US. A group of us had wondered over to the beach to check out the stars. Keshia suggested let's do a night shoot. I had worked with Kesha before and it was a good time so I thought what the heck let's do it. My room wasn't far so I grabbed my camera, flashlight, and speedlights. Can't forget that flashlight if you want a good night shoot. Ya so than this picture happened. It was a memorable night. The group of us just hung out on the beach drinking and friending and having a chill night. I miss those Pool Party trips down south. There hasn't been one in a while.

Mayra Beachwear Collection

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mayra from www.mayracollection.com for a second time. Woohooo. She wanted some new photo content for her webpage and this time she brought WBFF Fitness Diva Selena Stevens to model her bikinis. Myra was adamant about shooting on a blue background and lucky for her I have a recently painted blue textured wall at the studio. It worked out perfectly.

Well it turns out Selena is a riot. Totally awesome to work with and full of laughs. Mayra was on point in serious business mode. But that didn't last to long. The conversation was light and fun and the laughs came often. Before long we hit our stride, everyone was happy and all the shots were winners. You know It's a funny thing, literally, when everyone is smiling on set all the pictures come out amazing. Maybe i'm really newage with my thinking but when the fun is flowing it changes the energy in the room and everything becomes better. It's so hard to take a bad shot when you're having fun. Than before you know it the designer and the model turn the shoot into a dance party. hahahaha. #TrueStory

If you're a fitness competitor go check out www.mayracollection.com Mayra sews all her bikinis herself and she's a perfectionist which means you're probably going to get an awesome product for your stage show. I haven't seen one bikini from her that I didn't like. Oh and she also made those wings too. How cool is that.

Sima Fisher

Studio V Photography. Awwwwwooooo say hello to Sima Fisher, model, actress and Musician. I was lucky enough to shoot this triple threat in a stunning leopard print bikini and we got some fantastic images. This is my favourite out of the set. It was good laughs and good times all afternoon with Sima. When you have that click with the model you're working with the pictures just have that little extra touch of personality to them. Special thanks to Andy McParrot for styling and Monica Kalra for the Makeup.
